Cities for Citizenship United Way 211 Campaign

CET’s Immigration and Citizenship Program staff participated in The City of San José’s Cities for Citizenship United Way 211 campaign, which provides community members information about the Naturalization process and its benefits. Rafael Morales and Noemi Sandoval give a personal account of their journey to become U.S. Citizens.

Interviews were conducted with Celina Rodriguez with “Buenas Tardes con Celina” which is broadcasted by 1370 AM La Kaliente radio station. Please note that interviews were done in Spanish.


Rafael encourages individuals to use the 211 resources and discusses the need for individuals to be evaluated by Immigration Legal Service providers when applying for citizenship.
